Did I say this was the easy way? You bet, and not only is it easy, but it is the true lazy person’s way of getting Wordpress up and running and making money on line
fast. You won’t need to write any code, or even know what HTML stands for.

You need a hosting account that gives you a cPanel to work with for doing things
in your hosting account. I like Hostgator, Hostmonster, or Bluehost.

All of those have a cPanel and within the cPanel is a system called FAntastico.
Fantastico is shown as a blue smiley face and will be found towards the bottom
of the cPanel. You’ll have to scroll down.

Click on it and you’ll be brought to the Fantastico navigation page. Find
Wordpress and click on it to get to the Wordpress page. Click on “New
Installation.”

On the next page you’ll select the domain that you want to install your blog on.
That is if you have more than one domain hosted. Let’s assume you want to
install your blog in the root directory, so leave the “Install in Directory” box
empty.

I use “admin” for the administrator name for all my blogs. It’s easier to remember.
Make up a password to put in the next box, and an Admin nickname for the next.

A little Search Engine Optimization (SEO) trick is to use a key word for the Admin
nickname. that’s the name that shows up as author when you post on your blog.
As the search engine combs your site it picks that up as well as the post title.
Of course that title is going to be keyword rich too. Isn’t it?

Put your email address in the next slot. You could make an email address such as
admin@yourdomain.com. If you want that you’ll have to set up an email account
with that name in another part of the cPanel.

Next, on this page enter a description of your blog. Make it keyword rich. And
then, click on “Install Wordpress” and let her rip. That will take you to the
“Finish Installation” page.

You are finished with your Wordpress installation. There’s no need to click on the
“Back to Wordpress Overview” button. Just log out of your cPanel and go to your
blog by typing the address, “www.yourdomain.com.”

In order to make money online now you’ll have to select and install a good SEO
theme, some helpful SEO plugins and monetizing plugins. We’ll get to that in the
next post.
